David Firestone, a 15-year Registered Investment Adviser, is the founder and managing partner of the Mercator Advisory Group, LLC, where he oversees a unique, equity-based absolute-return fund focusing on the small to mid cap markets.
Prior to Mercator, Mr. Firestone was the managing partner with Brighton Advisors, LLC a hedge fund focusing on micro-cap public companies. Previously he served as a vice president for Miller, Tabak and Hirsh providing coverage to analysts and portfolio managers of mutual and hedge funds. He began his career at Kidder Peabody, working primarily in hedging strategies for restricted equity positions.
Mr. Firestone has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern California.
