Bob Wymbs manages strategic divestiture opportunities for Platinum Equity, working with Platinum’s portfolio asset management, business development and M&A groups to examine potential exits and execute divestiture transactions. Most recently, Mr. Wymbs executed the divestitures of AMISYS / Synertech, Billing Concepts, and HCS.
Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2000, Mr. Wymbs spent four years at the Los Angeles Dodgers and three years at McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm. At the two firms, he held various positions in strategic development, business development, project management, operations and marketing.
Mr. Wymbs earned an MBA from the Wharton School in 1993 and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University
