Shel Brucker is president of The Brucker Consulting Group which helps Investors, CEOs, business owners and Boards deal with business transformation, strategy, growth, and finance. He provides leadership and guidance in turnarounds, financing, debt negotiations, capital structure, restructuring, business models, startups, advisory boards, and the use of the Internet.
As a CEO for 20 years, Shel has been an active businessman/entrepreneur creating, running and growing a number of companies. He has an extensive background and experience in executive, financial, sales, marketing and operations management, retail/wholesale, technology, consulting and Internet based businesses. Previously, he had participated in five technology startups in Los Angeles and the Bay Area/Silicon Valley.
Mr. Brucker is on the Board of Directors of Los Angeles Venture Association {LAVA}. He is a founding partner of and is on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Social Venture Partners {LASVP} and also serves on the advisory boards of a number of companies. Shel is also the chairman of the TEC (www.teconline.com) CEO group in West Los Angeles. TEC groups help chief executives and their companies grow at significantly higher levels. They are comprised of non-competing CEOs that assist each other as a personal Advisory Board of peers. Membership is by invitation.
Mr. Brucker has a Bachelors degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and has taken MBA required courses at UCLA.
